You see I’m delighted to announce that last weekend I was IN THE NEWS … no LITERALLY!
Thanks to a dear friend (and FABULOUS artist herself @fionaplaneart ) a wonderful journalist Madame Colette Macintos came to my house and office to interview me about @manvswine and my work supporting the best independent, small family and sustainable wineries in @vinblaye and @bordeauxwines in particular, but with clients all over the world as well!
Needless to say, I feel honored!
I know that the world of wine is facing some challenges right now (and my adopted home of Bordeaux in particular), so I am so happy that in the midst of so much challenging news, I can help to provide a bright spark!
I love Bordeaux I love all of our regions and the amazing winemakers in Bordeaux And I am truly honored that after having only been in business for the last 3 years, that they would write about me and my work!
Needless to say I couldn’t do anything that I do without all of y’all so as honored as I am to see this article, I am even more thankful to ALL OF Y’ALL!
So I want to give a HUGE SHOUTOUT to :
-all of my wedding sommelier clients
-everyone who has joined me for a Bordeaux or Cognac or Bergerac or Beyond wine tour
-all of the AMAZING wineries, châteaux & cognac distilleries and their FABULOUS personalities I get to work with
-all of my @manvswine CLUB clients in the USA, BRITAIN, NORWAY, FRANCE, ROMANIA, GERMANY, The NETHERLANDS, SWITZERLAND
-and of course ALL of my wine export clients around the world but especially in MONGOLIA, the USA and Denmark … Without ALL OF Y’ALL … none of this would be possible!

“Moving on Up!”
Just 5 years ago this life wasn’t even a real dream that I thought to have…
I was a professor in 
Life was beautiful waking up every day to the #montblancmassif , skiing almost every day in the winter & teaching fabulous students from #aroundtheworld
…
I had no idea it could be even better.
Just 4 years ago we had just moved here full time & started to recreate our lives … I was working in the vines, reading & #reading (thank you SO much @jane.anson !) tasting, meeting winemakers & cognac houses, developing my #french
… but I still had no real idea quite how all of the #puzzlepieces fit together…
Just 3 years ago I owned the rights to manvswine.net , I had my first paying client in April ‘22 & I had slowly started to find myself on #instagram #winestagram
…
And within these past 3 years I have created & experienced countless adventures & brilliant moments…as the #weddingsommelier for over 100 #weddingclients , w/fabulous #bordeauxwinetrip s , judged at international wine competitions like @concourslyon & @millesime_bio , represented wineries at international trade shows like @vinexposium & @prowein_tradefair , helped clients to celebrate their #mostimportant moments w/ the @manvswine CLUB sending wine to almost every state in the #usa
(even #utah !) & throughout #europe #africa & even #themiddleeast , helped wineries to create new markets W/ new marketing & sending #pallets of wine to the USA , within France , to Denmark 
, the UK 
, Switzerland , the UAE 
& of course most recently the 6000 bottles of #bordeauxwine to Mongolia 
!
But today I am SO EXCITED to OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCE 
that I am now…

As y’all may know…Thanksgiving is one of my favorite times of the year…it’s a holiday unlike any other. It’s not about giving gifts per se, or celebrating a religious moment (though it can be), it’s not about honoring a historic event (although it certainly started as one!)
It’s quite simple:
It’s about taking a moment to pause in our insanely busy lives just to give thanks:
In our family, everyone holds each others hands & looks at each other and does exactly that…they say 1 thing that they are thankful for 💜
It’s oddly emotional…it can catch people off guard…it’s intensely personal & communal all at the same time. We seem to always have someone end up in tears (beautiful tears!) and you can feel the warmth of love pulsing through the room as we squeeze another’s hand when someone says something that really resonates.
It’s also the anniversary of when I went on bended knee and proposed to my wife …
And of course, the reflection of that thanks is in preparing, sharing and eating an extraordinary FRAMERICAN quantity of food (French Quality … American Portions!)!
